This rose is named in tribute to my late father Jack, who devoted his whole life to my mum, Joan, who is now in her twilight years. It is meant as a lasting memory of the life they spent together and to thank them both for giving me life. I will love you both forever

The jack-n-joan-seddon rose was planted in our public rose garden in 2012.
